Our History

Founded 1984

Lucky Spur Ranch was established in 1984 by

Bob and Norma Moriarty with their family.

​

We started with a APHA Roping stallion and moved into showing at halter in both APHA and PTHA and achieving a register of merit. Now are breeding for working cow horses and performance horses with our resident stud, Turn it N' Slide (AKA Cody), a cremello stallion by Dun A Little Romance and Turnit Chex.

In 2020, we had two Gunner drop colts hit the ground, each showing promise as potential reigning and breeding stallions.
